On February 27th I won a contest sponsored by Tabathas-Duct-Tape-Creations-and-More and contacted the vendor via Facebook and email.

The following is what has transpired in my effort to collect the prize. This is the 1st email/response

As for colors I have the following to choose from:Black, baby pink, pale yellow, teal, gray, burgundy, red, bright yellow, bright blue, dark blue, neon green, dark green, pale green, and gold right now (i'm fairly new to crocheting so my stock is small sorry) if i would get more orders i'd increase my stock of colors. and i promise i will get these done and out as soon as i possibly can!

I will ship it out Tuesday morning when my child support comes in. I apologize for the delay! But you will get them and I will add tracking just in case.

4th email/response: By this time I had posted my concern on their Facebook wall in an attempt to get them to respond with something other than excuses and what was appearing to be lies.

Being that it's something you are getting for free I wouldn't complain too much about the length of time it takes to get it. As for poor customer service, for that to be true first you have to be a customer a giveaway winner is NOT a customer. Customers pay for what they are getting and it doesn't come out of my own funds to get supplies, packaging material, and shipping. And I do NOT have to explain my personal financial issues with you as to why it has taken so long to get it out to you. And unfortunately that is the simple case of this, I did not have the funds to send this out. Obviously you have never won an item from someone who didn't even reply when you contacted them about your prize. I guess I can be a bigger person and see when someone isn't going to send out a prize and I just leave it alone but fortunately for you I did intend to send them out when I could. I have won a few prizes in facebook giveaways, not received the said prize, contacted the sponsor, not gotten a response, and just leave it alone because it was something I didn't pay for anyway so it's not like I was losing anything. Had it been a paid order I'd have had them made and shipped out the next day because paid orders are more a priority than a giveaway and due to issues such as this with you, I will no longer be doing giveaways. I should have kept the $2.00 shipping I originally had posted on the giveaway instead of paying it out of my own pocket. Now that you have your tracking number and your stuff is on the way we have no business with each other and you have no need to contact me. I will once again apologize for the delay but I hope that your supposed lady friend enjoys them.

Done on 3-15 and 1 month later still have nothing and by the way
Extremely poor customer service and very unprofessional as well as juvenile and cowardly on your part. Instead of dealing with me privately I had to take it public since ample time had passed without a response,and if your argument had merit you'd have expressed it rather than deleting it as if it didn't happen. 

5th email/response: By now I am frustrated as two days have passed with a shipping # and the package has not shipped

That is absolutely fine, as I do not believe there's a whole lot you can do about winning something and it not being shipped out in a time frame you deem appropriate. I'm glad I have better things to do than harass someone about something that I "won" and am getting for free on an app that isn't associated with facebook. If I had that kind of time on my hands I think I could find something better to do with it but if that's what you prefer to do then I suppose more power to you. Now, if you would like to play it where you're going to take action about an item that has or will be shipped, then go for it but remember this, I have told you to stop contacting me, and now you're going into the territory of harassment and I will turn you in for it to yahoo if it keeps up.

So finally after almost 2 months something has been shipped. Note in the correspondence her saying she should have charged the $2 shipping and whatever is coming was sent 1st class. I find it hard to believe it has taken this long with such a low shipping cost. Once the package arrives this will be updated again. My concern is that if this is the way she would treat someone who won a contest she sponsored how would she treat anyone else that had a problem doing business with her.
