I signed up for TalentHunter.com just to check it out and see how it works. I immediately received several e-mails from "talent scouts" saying they had casting calls in my city that they'd like to submit me for. I went to respond to them, but the site only allows paid members to respond to messages. I signed up for the 3-Day Trial for $1.99, completely aware that if you do not cancel before the 3-Day Trial is over that you will be charged $39.99.

My account was charged $1.99, and on the second day I sent an e-mail to the TalentHunter's cancellation department to get the form sent to me. I received the form, filled it out, clicked the "Submit" button, and nothing happened. There's an error on the page. I tried probably 15 times to get my account cancelled. I e-mailed three separate e-mail addresses on their website, including legal, customer service, and cancellations explaining to them that their cancellation form is not working and they I want to cancel my trial. I told them do NOT charge $39.99 to my account. I received no responses from anyone at TalentHunter.com.

This morning when I logged into my online banking there was a charge of $39.99 from TalentHunter.com. I am furious. I wrote to them again, demanding that they credit my account and delete my profile and cancel my membership with them immediately. How are you supposed to cancel your membership if they don't allow you to? This company should not be allowed to operate. They are stealing money from people.

I received this e-mail after trying to contact their abuse department:

Someone please help me and everyone else who has been ripped off by this disgusting website!
