Tamer Shawareb accepted my daughter's case in a marijuana possession charge.   He never once called me back after taking my money.  He got a continuance of the first court date without ever consulting me.  I was simply called by his secretary the day before court.  I had already scheduled the day off from my job.  When the second court date came, Tamer Shawareb was late and totally unprepared.  He didn't even know when the offense occurred.  His only question was, "how much did I say I'd do this for?"  We lost big time since Tamer had given us no guidance whatsoever.  When the final court date came for sentencing, Tamer came to court - but not for us!  He was there for another client and didn't even speak to the judge on our behalf.  He did find a few seconds to tell us that, for an extra fee, he could look into expunging the conviction.  Tamer Shawareb did nothing for us what-so-ever except take our money.
