I have now given this dealership ample time to redeem themselves, however apparently this dealership is simply compelled by deceit and fraud.  Purchased a vehicle from this location 4/15/2018. Per the dealer provided Buyer's Order agreement, the amount financed = $25,617.29. Dealer provided financing with Capital One Auto Finance. Received Capital One's correspondence whereby the amount financed = $30,333.00 a net difference of $4,715.71. Contacted the dealer spoke to the finance manager, Joseph. Per Joseph, a vehicle warranty, GAP insurance and a 4 year maintenance agreement was included in the sale, not at my authorization, nor is this detailed anywhere in the sales agreement. What was especially troubling is the statement made by Tampa Mitsubishi that they have "Power of Attorney," which, if this to be true, they are adding product without the buyer's consent.

Cancel all those add on's by the dealership

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, July 19, 2018

I'm not diminishing your complaint at all. Go back and cancel those add on's as you can then receive a refund and pay down the loan to the amount that you orignially expected at the time of purchase. I would especially get rid of the maintenance agreement (generally worthless) and the extended warranty (usually worthless). GAP can be purchased elsewhere for much less than what the dealer charges usually. All of these add on products are big commission to the finance person and that's why they add it to your purchase. This type of scam is common in the auto sales industry. That doesn't make it right at all. There is no excuse for adding anything to the purchase price without the consumers specific permission.

Did YOU Read The Bill of Sale?

AUTHOR: Perry Mason - (United States)

There's more. Did they also hit you up for a $895 BOGUS, ADD-ON, PHONEY FEE??? This PHONEY FEE is NOT legitimate and is nothing more than putting an official sounding name to make you think it's some type of required or legitimate fee. It isn't. However, the ONLY document which matters in your case is the BILL OF SALE. Did you read it before you signed it???
