Tanner Transmissions Inc. The owner Bob from corporate would not even respond to the complaint I filed with the BBB Sunset, Utah

I had my truck taken to Tanner Transmissions initially because of the characterazation and reputation the claim in there adds....Spent $2600.00 for a transmission and the promise to have it repaired was lengthly!! I than had to have a new engine replaced a few months later.  This transmission came with a "warranty" but if you read it carefully in context it covers nothing and holds them harmless with virtually anything!!! Once I had the engine replaced within a few months my truck again experienced the same as prior and I had it towed to Tanner in Sunset.  Upon there review after a week or so of my constant phone calls for an explanation....they informed me that the warranty had been voided as someone else had done work on the truck!!! The business that had installed the engine was and is licensed in Utah and there primary is engines!! So , Tanner refused to take responsibility and the engine shop denied any wrong doing as well. In a nut shell this continued for months playing the blame game with both shops.  I asked that they each take some responsibility and just get it fixed!! Neither agreed to budge!! I filed a BBB better business bureau complaint soon after Feb 2009 naming both parties. Well Tanner refused to even respond to the complaint!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to purchase another vehicle for transportation...........although they did initially tell me they would replace/repair for another $2100.00+........the nerve to think I would entrust or furthermore think I was dumb enough to allow this raping to take place again!!! This has cost me thousands of dollars, time, frustration and my vehicle is still sitting at there location in the midst of a BBB complaint with nowhere to go...........On top of that I was relocted out of state!!! If anyone ready this knows of a responsible company that really stands behind there workmanship and warranty please notify me. It is getting to be winter in Utah and I need it driveable before the winter sets in up there.
