Tater Mitts False or misleading advertising Internet
Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
On television, Tater Mitts advertises that the product can peel potatoes, and other soft-skinned vegetables, in 8 seconds. This much is true, but what it does NOT say is that you have to boil the potatoes first for 6-8 minutes! Reason says that boiled potatoes (or carrots or other soft-skinned vegetables) can be easily peeled without the $19.95 + $6.95 shipping Tater Mitts! I think the ommission of this important fact (boiling first!) is misleading or false advertising. It is NOT in small print, either in the on-air advertising, on the website or on the box.
