*REBUTTAL Owner of company: From Tau Resorts

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I bought a vacation package that this company was offering to stay at the Buenaventura Grand Hotel and check out their property_time share.

When I arrived the hotel told me that they cancel the reservation beacause Tau Resort do not pay the bill, so they decide to scam me. The next day I went to talk to the project Director Mr Fernando de Anda and he refused to recive me and they send security to taking me out of the property.

I been reading and this is a Time Share Rip Off, they suposed to deliver the property a ytear ago and still in construccion, the guarrartte you get your money back, but they have all kind of legal problems, from fraud to labor.

Stay away from Tau Resorts is a fraud.

Timeshare Scam

AUTHOR: margaretsims90 - (USA)

This company is one of the most fraudulent developers ins the timeshare industry. The only thing you can do is cancel your timeshare contract. There is an article with complaints about this fraudulent resort:

Note to Owner

AUTHOR: Cynthia - ()

This is in response to the Rebuttal by the Owner - I am one of the discouraged timeshare owners at Tau Nahui, and visited the property myself last year. While they got a shell of the first block of rooms started, some foundations for something else below it, and one of the houses going, it appeared that the efforts were all directed at the building of the new road. From pictures in the does not appear much more was ever accomplished  other than the roadwork.

I have now been contacted by a group of lawyers in the Puerto Vallarta area claiming to be representing Tau Nahui owners in filing a Class Action Lawsuit against this development.

I have tried to contact Tau at the website, email or phone number provided by the Owner in their rebuttal...but the website is under construction or gone, the phone number out of service, and no response to my emails. Last newsletter was Aug 2013, with a e-card Christmas Greeting in Dec 2013.

IF the owner is still attempting to be accountable to owners, please update contact info and provide your investors/owners with an explanation and statement of your current intent.  I am concerned about spending even more money to join the lawsuit, but with no avenue to communicate directly with Tau representatives, there may be no better option.

Go see for yourself

AUTHOR: Bob - ()

The resort hasn't progressed since Jan. 2013.  The organization is a total ripoff. Try to get your money back.

Got my moneyback

AUTHOR: Bob - ()

This is not a rebuttal, rather an update to my previous post.  To those that are trying to get a refund from TauResorts I would suggest making a dispute with your credit card company.  Your success may depend on how long it has been since you gave them your money.  I was successful filing a dispute thru my Discover card and have gotten all mymoney back. I went back to the resort in August and took pictures of the property.  Nothing had been done since January. Not on the resort or the road.  I will gladly share these photos with anyone who wants to try to get their money back.

Tau is a scam

AUTHOR: Bob - ()

We purchased a time share in Jan. 2013 with the guarantee letter that we would get our money back if the resort wasn't open by August 10, 2013.  They sent a letter to all members saying that the road wasn't complete but everything was going great and they would be opening in March...   We decided to take a look for ourselves.  We visited the property on August 26th and not one thing had been done since January.  We'll see how long it takes to get our money back.  Also, stay away from Vista Resort Marketing..A true fraud.

I have pictures I'll be glad to share.

Rip Off

AUTHOR: Daniel - (U.S.A.)

My family and I were also scammed by this company. We were promised  refund if the resort was not completed by June 2011. We requested the refund in October 2011, and forwarded all of the requested documents. We exchanged several e-mail with a lawyer named Fernando Espitia, and even forwarded him our routing number and account number so our refund could be deposited.

In May 2012, he ceased responding to our e-mails. We have attempted to contact Tau Resort directly; however, no one ever answers the telephone. We hired a private investigator to track down the lawyer who we had been exchanging e-mails with; however, not surprisingly they have relocated to a new building with no address. This is the kind of scam that makes Mexico look bad in the eyes of foreign investors. BUYER BEWARE!!!

my experience at tau nahui

AUTHOR: TaraMc - (United States of America)

don't believe negative people just looking for an opportunity and the delay. Nahui is happening right now and will be ready in a couple of months. I recently got the most updated pictures on the newsletter for the constructions and saw all the developments on it. I urge to contact Tau directly and talk to them to feel more at ease. I hope we can all meet at the grand opening and enjoy the beatiful beach.
