I paid Tax defense network to help me with the tax problems I am dealling with.  They charged me $6500 and this was supposed to cover everything, it was an all inclusive flat fee.  The problem came after they mixed up myself and another person (I am guessing another one of their clients) on several forms submitted to the irs during the negotiating process.  This mistake resulted in months of delay and required a lot of the process to be repeated.  Everybody makes mistakes, thats not the reason I am writing this. What happended next is what really disturbed me..  

Without telling me why or what had happened, Tax Defense Network can up with a complictated reason why the irs was making this into a bigger case requireing more time and work that was not included in our fee arangement. The truth was, they were trying to get me to pay for their mistake. They were trying to double charged me for work they screwed up.   I probably would never have found out about their screw up but they had the nerve to try and charge me for redoing what they mixed up.  I ended up having other attorney look into my case and only then did i find out about the screw up.  Only after I threatened to sue did they complete the terms we had agreed to.  This is not the type of tax attorney firm I would ever do business with again.

We have concluded our investigation into this complaint and deem it to be fraudulent.  No further action will be taken and the matter is considered closed without warrant or validity.    

Our process in handling complaints involves an immediate, five step in-depth investigation, incorporating information technology, telephone communication, email correspondences, assistance from the BBB where applicable and, most importantly, an open dialogue with the client.

Each step of the process has been done in accordance with our policies and procedures. This alleged “client” failed to provide any evidence to show they engaged our company to provide tax services.  Therefore, we conclude that by placing false information about us online, this reviewer committed cyber fraud.
