I am so very sorry you are having difficulties with this firm.  I was a client several years ago and the staff was completely kind and willing to help.  They finished my case in three weeks.  Prior to their assistance I was getting the run around from my mortgage company for nearly two years.  Just as an aside, the staff is helping me with another matter because they still consider me a client.  Again, I am so sorry you are having a completely opposite experience.  Best of luck.

Taylor Mortgage Lawyers is a full-service law firm and our Attorneys practice throughout the State of California.  Taylor Mortgage Lawyers represents both residential and investment borrowers who wish to pursue claims against mortgage lenders and servicers.  The firm employs litigation and negotiation in an effort to keep borrowers in their homes and to ensure that investment properties cash-flow.

We handle each matter with care and were alarmed to learn of the allegations made against the firm two days ago.  Although the person who has made this allegation has not identified any facts of the case or any of the details of their dealings with the Attorneys and staff of Taylor Mortgage Lawyers, we rebut these claims in totality.

The following information should be evaluated by anyone who is tempted to believe the negative claims against Taylor Mortgage Lawyers:

1.  Matt Marich is named in the subject line of the complaint, but he is not an Attorney here.  Mr. Marich is a new employee (since June 2010) of the firm who works as a bookkeeper.  His work on behalf of the firm rarely, if ever, involves clients.

2.  Taylor Mortgage Lawyers represents borrowers, not banks or mortgage servicers.  As such, we are dedicated to keeping our clients in their homes and helping them obtain solutions with their creditors.  We are not and have never been bottom feeders as we maintain an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau. http://los-angeles.bbb.org/Business-Report/Taylor-Mortgage-Lawyers-100080767

3.  Taylor Mortgage Lawyers DOES NOT take money from ANYONE without first providing legal services including, but not limited to: Providing a Customized Financial Analysis, Counsel & Advice concerning debt ratios and potential claims arising from third-party creditors, Preparation of Qualified Written Requests directed to lender/servicer in connection with a client's case, Filing a Civil Action on behalf of a client, and Proving Counsel & Advice concerning the feasibility of mortgage work-outs, short sale, and deed in lieu of foreclosure.

4.  Taylor Mortgage Lawyers does not employ ANY "customer service people".  At this time there are four Lawyers and thirteen non-Lawyer staff members/contractors here.  Generally, the turn-around time for a call-back or e-mail reply is 24 business hours.  Also, in general, we answer all calls between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, in real time.

5.  Taylor Mortgage Lawyers has no record of an active client who engaged the firm for short-sale and whose home was sold.

6.  It is the policy of Taylor Mortgage Lawyers to assist those seeking short sale, to list the subject property with a licensed Realtor immediately.  Once a bona fide offer is made, we require that offer and supporting documentation to be provided to the firm.  Without delay, this information is presented to the lender/servicer and a request is made for sale dates, if any, to be postponed.
