Technology At Work carwash Company misleading recruiting immature temper-tantrums Ripoff Fort Myers Florida

This is not for revenge, rather to warn anyone who sees a job add on the internet for "Technology at Work" car wash services.....

I was living in South Carolina and was looking for a job online. I replied to the online add for the SouthWest Florida based company. I received a phone call that weekend from "Mac" who is the owner. After being told that according to my resume I would be a good fit, and he explained the pay for the job (which was way above average).

I told my wife and called back for a second phone discussion and he offered me the job over the phone. The amount of pay and being hired over the phone made me curious if this was too good to be true so we traveled down to the area to meet him and look at houses. I was pleased to meet what seemed a professional, super-friendly individual. Of course I was suprised to see how tiny his "warehouse" was and the fact he only had two service tech's seemed odd considering how much he had talked his company up. To make a long-story short we moved down and began work within a month.

It didn't take long to see Mac's true colors. Throughout that first day of working with him at different service calls I viewed numerous temper tantrums that would make a four year old proud. Just for example he tried to tape a box up...got it snaggled and slammed it onto the ground..stomped on it, then grabbed another off the shelf and stomped on it repeatedly...if he couldn't find a part on the van he would begin cursing loudly(to his imaginary friend I guess) He also loves talking down to his employees in front of customers.......I soon found out that counting myself he had been through 14 service techs in the 12 months he had been in buisness.....go figure...needless to say I didn't last long (the only other employee he still has if over 50 and desperately needs the job)....

Now of course I couldn't work for him long, just like the former technicians he has had...and I am way down here without a job.

THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU MOVE YOUR FAMILY FOR MAC!!
