Teleten Marketing TELETEN STILL IN BUSINESS? Los Angeles California

I am following up to see if there's any class action suit pending against this company. WOW! It been 18 months now, since I got rip-off by this Teleten company in Feb.05. I've called and wrote letter to the secretary of state and FTC. They are still in business after all these months? These company need to be stop!

My story is pretty much the same all around. I learned about the company via the fax. I then got in touch with a rep name Lee. Initially, he and I spoke for a good 30min and he called me everyday for about 3 days. He sounded great, knowledgeable, and promising. Finally, I sent my check for $1,200 for 32 leads with 3 live transfers. I was promise to get 3 leads on Monday, which I never did.

On Tuesday, I rec'd the leads. From those three leads were bogus-BS. The three customers I contacted don't own a home. I even check title report and the names on the leads does not matches the title holder. I called and left messages for Lee to returned my call. I called again and finally Lee answer. I explain to him about the problem and the agreement per our contract. He said to note and fax them back to our exchange dept and they will credit some new leads. Next day I rec'd no leads, following day I got 3 leads and they were all the same. Every time I called someone, I get NO return calls. I called, fax, wrote letters to the company. All goes no answer. Every day I called hoping I reach Lee. And when I do he promise the same thing. He will take care of it. He promise, promise and those promise turn into lies. This goes on for about 2 months started to pick up for the summer, so I finally give up trying to reach them. But I still want my money back!

Eighteen months has gone by. They are still in business ripping people off for their investment. For the victims of this company, please do phone or write to the California Secretary of State at www.ss.ca.gov or the FTC. For the ones thinking about sending your check to this company. Do a search on "Teleten" on this website and continue reading. THEY ARE BAD BUSINESS AND A RIP-OFF.
