Don't be foolish and hire this company.  They are crooks.  First they will take your retainer, then will put hardly any effort into doing the job that they are hired to do.   They have no legitimate experience in the field of private investigation.  You would be just as well off hiring your paperboy to 'investigate' for you.

Beware of Telstar Investigations.

#4 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Telstar Investigation is unethical

AUTHOR: Maid to Serve LLC - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 22, 2010

I use to WORK for them but the owner never paid me. Now he is trying to slander my business name by putting a false Rip Off report to my good name. He thinks I am the bad one, what he doesn't realize I have 3 children to feed and he owes me about $1,000 for cases I have done for him. I was going to let Karma take care of him but when I saw a Rip Off report on my business name that was clearly done by the guy I worked with on some of the cases (also instigated a lot of the issues between the owner and me) that still is employed with Telstar, it made me remember how ignorant they are. The owner will pay a guy with no kids but will not pay me, with 3 kids. I am the one that advised him to always answer the phone, I am the one who told him to grow the business, I am the one who went to the cases when the guy didn't, I am the one who was following the right subject when the other guy wasn't, I am the one who stayed up on the cases when the other guy fell asleep, etc. But I realize for them to slander my name they must be doing bad. I am going to leave it at this: Charles, you and (Kevin) really K.M.J. will get what you deserve (it's not going to be good) and it is no threat. Reap what you soe.

Telestar looks to be the one defending themself

AUTHOR: Stacey - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 14, 2009

I don't even live in the area and am not familiar with this company.   But what I do see is their own employees posting their own rebuttals in order to offset the initial criticism.

I couldn't believe how someone would be so stupid to make a comment like 'they must have the wrong company' it couldn't be Telestar.  Everyone has a bad experience with a McDonalds once in a while, it doesn't mean that the consumer must be in the wrong because they had a bad experience with them when 99/100 people had a good experience with them.  I'm sorry but that was just a stupid comment and obviously from an employee.

nothing but praise

AUTHOR: Suzanne - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 25, 2009

I would like to say that I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I have spoken to the owner - he dealt with my initial call and was extremely delighted at his professional manner. He gave me a lot of information over the telephone and gave me the option to use his services of indeed use another company. I did not feel pushed into anything and was kept up to date on all process. The staff were very polite and professional at all times. In fact I was so pleased with the service I gave their number to a friend of mine.
At all times I was aware of the costs involved. All I can say is I think the person that made this complaint must have the wrong company or maybe they have a 'personal' vendetta against someone. Either way I can confidently say I am happy with the service and would not hesitate to hire them again.

I wish the company good fortune in the future and keep up the good work guys!!!

Who are you?

AUTHOR: Telstar Investigations - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 29, 2009

Hey Warren,

If you feel that Telstar ripped you off, we will be more than happy to talk to you about it.  However, if you are the anonymous complainant registering as someone different to begin a campaign of slander against a Company that works with the utmost integrity in helping people find facts regarding their case, then we have a serious problem.

Did you hire us to do an investigation in VA Beach.. because we do not even do investigations there, or at least have not done them there recently.  We suggest that you email our company with your FULL NAME and number so we can address your complaint.  Hiding behind a "consumer advocate" site that allows just to about anybody to make any false accusation just doesn't cut it.
