My experience with Tennessee Wood Flooring was absolutely terrible.

I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the flooring that I received, and was treated rudely by the owner Steven (Stephen) Casey when trying to seek a resolution. In the 3 boxes we opened, 50% of the boards had "pit or pock" marks on them. In researching this, I was told that what we were seeing is called planer tearing, and would be classified as a manufacturing defect and IS NOT a natural defect. The grade I ordered was graded to include 20 to 30% of natural defects because wI wanted the color variations that come with the natural defects. "Building Grade Consists of natural defects in the 20% to 30% range."

I was very unhappy with this buying experience.

Great Company!

I furnished my entire home with hardwood flooring from stone river hardwoods.  Loved the flooring, loved the price and my floors look beautiful.  I would buy again from stone river hardwoods.

Absolutely Untrue

This company has been an outstanding example of what a small business should be in Sevier County for the past several years. It is completely family owned and operated. Mr. Casey and his children are the only full-time employees there and they take pride in everything they do. I can assure you that the "Rip-Off" that was reported above is completely one-sided, and I am sure if the flooring was not up to this customer's picky standards, the funds collected were returned. Completely blows my mind that someone would attack this family like this.

There's two sides to every story...

The customer was not satisfied with the quality of the flooring that she recieved; although, it was within the NOFMA grading standards. In turn we gave her money back to her, and took back the flooring. And now she is saying that we have a terrible product, just try to be open minded when reading this subjective material.
