The aggressive sales person made me sign a one year contract in his tablet in his first visit and did not mention at all the very high early termination fees that they charge.  The service was substandard with Terminix making rushed visits and not following through on commitments from the aggressive sales guy in terms of where the pest control treatment should be done (I.e.  attic).

When I wanted to cancel the cost for cancelling was going to be almost the same monthly cost than the service.  They alleged they sent me the contract by email after I signed it but I never received it.  Stay away from Terminix!  They will rip you off.

Another BLAME EVERYBODY ELSE!

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 19, 2021

What a bunch of first class BS and what another typical example of a sorry individual who hasn’t matured and blames everybody else. NOBODY FORCED you into this! You didn’t need to buy this service. You could have walked away but YOU decided to move forward with it.

You come here to tell the world you don’t even have the COMMON SENSE to READ what you were agreeing to BEFORE you agreed to it! You then blame them all thru your whining here when anybody with half a brain would not have done what you did! Am I ever impressed! Don’t bother wasting time with a stupid statement in reply. I’ll tell you ahead of time, I don’t work for them.

Read contracts before signing them

AUTHOR: Flint - (Afghanistan)

Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson -- never sign a contract for something that doesn't require one, and read any contracts before you sign them.  There are plenty of  pest control companies that are happy to do good work for a simple monthly fee with no contracts of any kind.  Why you would (a) opt to sign a contract on the spot and (b) not read what you are signing is a little beyond me.

There is absolutely zero reason for a pest control company to ask you to sign a contract, unless they want to make sure you can't easily get away from them and their s**+**y service.  And if there was a good reason to sign one, you should have asked for an electronic or physical copy and sent it back to them a few days later, after you've had a chance to review it and get additional quotes.
