Texaco Lube Express Misleading service claim destroyed transmission the business that doesn't give a dam Round Rock Texas

Serviced my vehicle right before the christmas holidays.
On route to holiday destination my transmission went out. Contacted the local manager, who forwarded to next manager, who forwarded to corporate regional. Everyone giving a different excuse why transmission was not serviced. All excuses held little merit.

Regional customer service sent me a letter, stating the matter would be best handled by the local manager. None offered to re-imburse me for the 1500.00 service. The local company has since gone out of business and Texaco maintains the stand that all are locally owned businesses caring thier logo and products.

Texaco is not responsible for fraudulent business practices even though the businesses carry thier logo and products. I have since stopped trying to get Texaco to own up to any responsibility. Only recourse is to not buy any Texaco products and stop doing business with any local retailer.
