Texas back institute Plano Texas Lied to and told me false statements plano Texas

 on my back I have degenerates back disease and a  stenosis of the spine .I was called up two day before the surgery and was told I would have to come up with $2500 for the surgery to be done by the Dr. now they had one complete month to tell me this and they waited until two days before surgery to call and tell me that .after I got off the phone with the Texas back institute office I told her I would call her back to see what I could do .I just could not understand this as I have Health Insurance .I called her back the next day and decided to put it on my credit card. it was not an hour later the hospital  called me and they proceeded to tell me that I would have to come up with 4500 more dollars and that they had  estimated my cost. I explained to the lady that I had Medical Insurance and my deductible was $1500 that’s when she began to tell me how I would have to pay all this money up front before the surgery and they would refund the difference. so now were up to $7000 on an estimate and they said as soon as the insurance paid their portion that they would refund my money .I then told her no. so I called the doctor’s office back and told them to put the $2500 back on my credit card and I would find me another Dr. She then called me back and told me that they would refund the money and I could make payments on it.  I have lived in pain for over four years and when you’re desperate for help I agreed to what she said. now what kind of tactics you can call this but this in my eyes is just poor business relationships and patient to Dr. Relationships or a strong arm tactics .this place is a joke I would advise anybody that plans on going to this Dr. or any Dr. At the Texas back institute walk away and find another Dr. Immediately. so just the other day I called to see when they’re going to refund my money and the lady in the billing office told me that they would not refund any of my money .so I called my credit card company and stop payment.  I

f you’re going to this institution I would run as fast as I can to get out of here if you can.  Texas back institute and Texas Health center for diagnostic and surgery Plano Texas work together to rip you off. I’m just glad my credit card company works for me or I would probably be screwed. I do not know where this is going from here I still have not receive a itemized bill to see where they got their figures from and the lady in the billing office could not pull it up on her computer screen how convenient is that .like I say consumer beware……
