I purchased Designer Touch No-Drip hair spray from Texas Beauty Supply and it was extremely watery, therefore, it did not suit the name "NO-DRIP" although all of the bottles of this product that I purchased from other stores was fine. When I couldn't get a hold of someone from their customer service department (telephone rings and rings - it even states on their website that if it rings more than ten times to try again!!) I finally contacted my credit card company. As for my reason for putting them in the "business that doesn't give a d**n" category, below is an example of the way they treat their customers. This is the email that they sent to me after my credit card company contacted them (cut and pasted below):

She did get her money back without any proof of defect

AUTHOR: jeff - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 02, 2002

We do get the occasional 'item is broken, I want all my money back, but, I still want to keep it' requests.

In this case, we could not find any logs of her email or phone calls prior to receiving the chargeback paperwork. We did send her an email that we did not appreciate the chargeback since we did not get a chance to handle it, and the amount was for the full order and shipping. Her complaint was about one portion of the order.

I have not seen or heard of any other complaints about the quality of this product from distributors to customers. And, we have not received the defective items back from her, so, that I could give the proof to the distributor.

We are still selling the product since it is a good quality product line.

In the future, if a customer is unhappy with the product and they could not reach us, please send the product back to us. We can send a replacement or refund money.
