Texas Car Title & Payday Loan lying about important info abt loan, tripling what I owe after repossession league city Texas
*Author of original report: solved!
*Consumer Comment: Why would you ask if your car was up for reposession?
Title loan company told me my car wasn't out for repossession when it was. Now my car is in their lot and my loan repay has doubled. Agreed to allow me to come make a payment by Monday but still came and got my car. I have no problem repaying the original $1600 I borrowed, but not another $3000 on top of the already $2000 plus I've paid. I'm a single parent trying to get to grad school.

I was finally able to speak with a regional manager who took everything I said into consideration and even credited my a portion of my fee which means I can retrieve my vehicle Monday. She was amazing and understood why I was so upset.

Very curious as to why you felt the need to ask if your car was up for reposession. The only reason someone needs to ask that is if they are currently behind in their payments.
So just how far behind were you?
What would have happened if they did tell you that your car was up for reposession? Would you have made your payments? If that is the case then why do you need the threat of reposession to make your payments. You could have made your payments like you were supposed to and then you wouldn't be in this mess...right? Oh so you are saying you couldn't make your payments anyways..so why did you need to know? Was it because you wanted to hide the car from them so they couldn't take it? Well that's not saying much about you either.
Of course you have no problem paying the amount you borrowed. But here is the problem, even if you had spectacular credit you couldn't get a no interest loan. You are a sub-prime borrower who has not proven they can handle credit(and this isn't helping). As a result your only options are to not get the loan or get one with a with sub-prime lenders and HIGH Interest rates...all of which YOU agreed to when you got the loan.
