Ok really.. I grew up eating there at least once a week.. not counting the 3 am after bar closes munchies... it is a little small greasy spoon that has the best d**n diner food a person can ask for.. but just walking in there should have let you know that it was not the most hygienic of places.. really the faded floor the peeling paint the taped seats the open kitchen the always present 3 flys that somehow always manage to find my table every time i go... I may not have been there in many years and things may have changed (but not likely) but pretty much you know what to expect as soon as you so much as look thru the all glass entrance you dont even have to enter to know what to expect... so if you wanted something better for a high price i guess ya should have gone someplace classy like the dutch haven.. where they keep the maggots breeding under the floor hidden and flys swarming the food in the kitchen... at least the texas is exactly what it appears.. so get off the high horse and enjoy the best d**n food (specially the greek omlette) in the best greasy spoon in central PA! and yes i know this a long time since the post but i just cant not defend my fav place to go when i get the chance to go back to my home town. oh and for the record.. not ONCE in my many years of dining there has their food ever made me sick..
