Texas Singles Rip off of someone looking for love San Antonio, Texas

I signed up with a dating/match making service. I was told I would receive am email that would send me to the website-I would have a message on the website and it would have information about a potential match. I would respond to the company and tell them if I was interested in meeting this person. If I was, then they would give him my phone number and we would contact each other and meet.

I signed up and paid $400 down and arranged to make monthly payments for the next 10 months. I have heard nothing from the company since I signed up on 12/21/12. I have emailed them and called and left messages at the office and still I heard nothing.

Today I received a call from a man that said he was with Texas Singles. I assumed it was someone calling to talk to me about my email that had expressed my dissatisfaction. Upon further conversation, it was discovered that he was also a member. He had been given my information and phone number by the company. I had no idea. 

After I got offf of the phone I went to the website and I did have a message there (I had never gotten an email to tell me to check the website-this was how it was supposed to work) about this potential "match". It gave basic information. There was nowhere on the form or email to replay and say that I was or was ot interested in this potential match. 

I had given specific criteria about what I wanted in a match and he did not meet most of them. They say that they have thousands of members in their database and we are only allowed to meet six people. I cannot imagine that they couldn't give me what I am asking for. They do not give what they advertise at all. And they are VERY expensive. 

I have asked for my money back, but they say they are not going to give me my money back. I am going to contact the better business bureau and file a report with them as well.
