My company Shipper Owned Container a retailer of containerized DNV 2.7-1 equipment in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Newman, President of Texocean International bought equipment from our company and refuses to pay for it. He admits that his client did pay for the equipmnet, but that he cannot pay us.
In addition we ordered a specialty unit for Texocean from our factory partner in China. The unit has arrived into our Houston depot and Mr. Newmna refuses to pay for that as well. At present his debt to my copany is $23,014.00
We did some homework with other container retailers in Houston and have found out that this is a pattern for Mr. Newman and that he also has done the same thing to other companies as well. At present there are pending lawsuits against Texocean for non payment and judgments are close to being issued.
This is a very dishonest person and we advise all buyers to beware of this unscrupulous character.

Just a final note about this company and it's owner. The company has now unlisted it's website and it appears to no longer be in business. All attempts to collect the owed balances have failed and Mr. Newman has disappeared. So as you can see his rebuttal is just a gulty man trying defend his unethical ways of doing business. Mr. Newman is not only unethical, but lacks integrity as well and should never be trusted by anyone in any business of any kind.

The details of my companies relationship woith Texocean International are as follows.
1. Mr. Newman placed Texocean purchase orders for equipment with my comoany Shipper Owned Container for DNV 2.7-1 Offshore containers.
2. We sold him the equipment totalling $23,014.00 and he picked it up from our supply depot and sold it to another oil and gas companyin Houston Texas company.
3. Texocean and Mr. Newman were paid for the equipment and he has admitted this. We granted him 30 day payment terms and they are close to 100 days past due now. We were even so gracious as to offer him a payment program which he set out the terms of, and then promptly defaulted on the first payment.
4. He will not pay us for the equipment and says he doesn't have the money.
5. We were forced to turn this over to collections after we were informed that he had anothewr pending lawsuit with another prominent equipment supplier in Houston Texas that he did the same thing to in 2011.
In addition I have written proof of two other delinquesnt accounts, one received today in my office from an employee, Rosie Tan, formerly of Texocean who has read this post and wrote us to see if we knew how she could find Mr. Newman as she had $1400 she was seeking in back wages and website fees.
6. All we are asking from Mr. Newman is that he pays for what he has agreed to purchase and has been paid for by his customers.
Mr. Newman in his rebuttal here claims that we are trying to defame his company and that we are using slanderous statements about this matter. We have stated nothing but the truth here in every single fact and will gladly back it up in a court of law at any time with all the documentation necessary.
If this was an isolated incident it would be one thing, but this is more habitual in nature and needs to be taken seriously by our business community.
We never bargained for any of this when we agreed to sell him some equipment to help his company., we just want Mr. Newman and his company Texocean International of Houston Texas to pay us.
