Our daughter ordered a bunk bed for her young son. There were 'issues' prior to the delivery, but they were nothing compared to what has happened (and not happened) since the shipment arrived and my husband assembled the beds.  This set has seating and a table or desktop below the top bunk which converts into the lower bunk.  After less than a week, the table broke, rendering the lower bunk useless; it was this bed our grandson was using.  Luckily, he was not in the bed at the time -- it was being used as a desk. Besides the safety factor which is paramount, almost immediately on converting the seating to my grandson's bed, scratches and gouges began to appear.  It is virtually impossible to avoid this because there are metal brackets on the table that attach to the side rails and these brackets damage the wood.  Each and every time the bed was used, the gouges became deeper and the scratches more unsightly.

The customer service people our daughter has talked to over the last month or so have given her the run-around and have required various and sundry things of her which, when she follows through with those directives, only lead to further obligations on her part, i.e., sending photographs of the damage.  All the while, nothing is happening on the Bean Bag Store end, other than a promise to send a new table with brackets -- it has not arrived and excuses are being given for that delay.

The last representative from the company told our daughter that "Annie," the supervisor or manager, would call her.  She did not.  When our daughter called to ask why she had not heard from "Annie," someone told her their computer shows that Annie had talked to her and that the situation has been resolved.  This is totally false.  I've seen "Annie's" name on some other online complaints re this business: Annie needs to be relieved of her job and find another line of work, in my opinion.

We are disappointed that our daughter purchased such a big-ticket item online without doing some research on the business, but she has learned a hard lesson.   Maybe we can save others from having to learn the hard way not to do business with the Bean Bag Store.  This is not the end because she is pursuing her case with the Consumer Protection folks in the office of the MN attorney general.  We hope it has a "happy ending" and that our daughter will receive a refund in order to buy a safer bed for her son from a reputable company who will stand behind their product.
