*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Trial For $75.00?

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Got a speeding ticket and i was not guilty of the crime. I hired "The Beltz Law Firm" Attorneys and Counselors" and paid them the money, $75.00, to get my ticket dismissed after talking to them on the phone about what they would do for me if i hired them. i told them i wanted a jury trial because i can prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that i was not the car that was speeding. The lawyer sent me a letter giving me a court date to appear to turn in the plea of not guilty and request the jury trial. The lawyer did not show up for court that day, but i did, once court was over i found out that the lawyer put me in for deferred judification instead of what i paid for, which was to get the ticket dismissed. This lawyer did not want to go to court with me, but he sure took my money. Earlier in the process after i had paid him, of course - The lawyer got mad at me when i told him i wanted to go to a jury trial, but this liar did what he wanted to do and that was the deferred judy bs...... This lawyer is a  out and out complete liar and will take your money tell you he will get you out of the ticket and then turn around and backstab you. i could have gotten the deferred judification myself from the court!!! i didnt need a fricking lawyer for that!! now i wasted my $75.00 and this lazy a*s lawyer didnt show up and lied through his rotten teeth to me.  the deferred judification costs the same either way through the court systems whether a lawyer does it for you or not......DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER......EVER!!!!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Trial For $75.00?

AUTHOR: Beltz Law Firm - ()

As the owner of the Beltz Law Firm, I have heard just about every excuse known to man that blames an attorney for a result other than a ticket being dismissed outright.  Most of the excuses range from, "I could have done that myself" to "A friend told me that if I hired an attorney my tickets would be dismissed."  Most of the statements are based on some unreasonable expectation of the law and facts surrounding their case.  This is exactly the case below.  First, lets start with the statement that our firm will do trials for $75.00.  This is a complete falsehood.  Our terms of service are clear that we do not do trials for $75.00.  If we did we would go out of business.  That would be like building a house for the price of the shingles on the roof.  Our terms of service can be found at:  Most clients are able to read and understand that $75.00 is not going to get you to the supreme court and back.  It is the minimum fee we charge to show up in court and either get the case dismissed for a legal reason, or plea the case out to the best deal so that you don't have to appear yourself.  We are not in the business of "backstabbing" anybody.  We are also not in the business of accepting responsibility for the ignorance of others.  This client was speeding, not his lawyer.  This client could have taken his case to trial, but chose not to pay our trial fee.  Basically, he wanted the T-Bone steak for the price of the salad bar.  The only person that would have been ripped off if he would have got what he wanted would have been his attorney.  Instead of paying the fee required to do a full trial, he chose the route of posing as an anonymous client without name or identifying information and complaining about a reputable firm.  We love the practice of law.  We love representing clients.  We love helping.  However, we also love the ability to support our family and our firm by charging reasonable fees for the services provided.
