The Butler Of Charlotte Scam artist! Has stolen money from dozens of vendors: 2 warrants out for his arrest Charlotte North Carolina

I am a professional singer in the Charlotte area, and have been for the past 12 years. Mr. Crowell hired me to perform for one of his parties in October of 2008. The client paid him directly for my services, then I was paid with a company check from Mr. Crowell (The Butler of Charlotte) which bounced the following week. Not only did he bounce the check he wrote to me, but he also bounced the check to the caterer and the venue (Extravaganza), adding up to thousands of dollars. I have tried to contact Mr. Crowell dozens of times, but he will not return my calls, nor will he return the calls from the venue and caterer. I expressed to him (through his voicemail) that I understand if he is having financial troubles and am willing to work out some type of payment plan. I truly wanted to handle this in a pleasant manner, but John Crowell has made this impossible. I also found out yesterday that he has been evicted from the house he was renting (he still uses the address though 1123 Shady Bluff Lane) and owes his former land lord $10,000 for past rent and bills, which he comtinually wrote bad checks for.
