The Cadle Company - Dan Joint Venture, Daniel C. Cadle DAN Joint Venture III Fraud Newton Falls, Georgia

Several years ago, my wife and I owned a business in Michigan.  It was a fairly successful business at the time up until 9/11.  When 9/11 happened, we lost all of our contracts and our business eventually went under.  We worked with an attorney to dissolve the business properly.  However, we didn't have the money to pay for the remainder of the loan owed on the property.  While working with the attorney, the attorney worked out a deal with the bank that held the lien on the property that the bank would sell the building for what was owed.  When the bank sold the building for what was owed, we were told by the bank and our attorney that the bank "forgave" any remaining debt that was owed since they got their money.

Approximately 6 years later, my wife and I moved South.  2 years after being in the South, (8 years since the dissolve of the business), we get a notice in the mail stating that DAN Joint Venture III has a judgement against us for our business that was dissolved over 8 years ago.  We called the attorney that we had in Michigan and he spoke with the attorneys from the bank (5/3rd Bank) and they reported that they had not sold any debt's to The Cadle Company.

Not only did the courts in Michigan give them a judgement against us, but we didn't even know that there was ever a court case.  We then filed a motion with the local courts in Michigan.  My wife and I bought plane tickets and flew to Michigan to go to court against them.  While in court, we told the judge that we didn't even know about DAN Joint or any court cases prior to this one.  The judge told us that because we didn't show up for the initial court case, DAN Joint automatically received the judgement because of our absence.

Now, not only do we have this judgement on our credit, they also have a lien against our home for a tune of $76k.  Something has to be done about this company.  If you have been done wrong by this company, please, lets get together and stop them.  Lets unify and get a class action lawsuit and put a stop to Dan Cadle.
