The Cleaning Authority Jaypaul Cleaning, LLC Company would not repair or replace broken window blind Phoenix, Arizona

In 2009 Cleaning Authority broke my kitchen window blind while routinely cleaning my home (they had been cleaning the same for over a year on a bi-monthly basis).  Staff left me a note that they broke the blind (string and slat broken off) and that the office would be contacting me for claim.  This was the third item they broke items in our home over the last several months but the blind is the only item we actually asked them to replace.

After four (4) letters no response so I contacted the BBB of AZ.  Cleaning Authority responded that they would have the blind REPAIRED but we would have to remove the blind, take it to their servicer, pick it up when done and re-install ourselves.  I asked them to have the blind repaired in our home and to ensure if the blind could not be repaired to replace the same.  They would not agree to this.  BBB left the complaint as unresolved.

We have made many attempts to resolve this and their solutions will not take care of the problem that our blind cannot be repaired and that we are unable to physically remove and deliver to their repair person (even if it could be repaired).  Mobile company gave us an estimate for repair in our home but cannot guarantee they can fix the broken slat.  Estimate provided to Cleaning Authority and they will not respond.

They did a good job of cleaning our home until the new franchisees took over in late 2008.  As soon as Jay and Paula took over the franchise their staff continued to break small items in our home on each visit and the quality of service when down.  We did not ask for replacement of the small items but need to have our large wooden blind in our kitchen repaired.  We think our request is more than fair.
