The Fresh Grocer - Drexeline Catering Ripoff Verbally Abusive Manager and employee, Unprofessional, chatterbox cashiers, LAZY! Drexel Hill Pennsylvania

I visit The Fresh Grocer/Drexeline Supermarket regularly, usually to grab coffee, breakfast and my lunch.

My complaint is regarding a supervisor or manager who yells at employees, treating them with utter disrespect, loud verbal abuse. She shames them and talks to them as if she is some kind of task master. She should be pulled aside and reprimanded immediately. This is unbelievable!

I recently decided to stop buying the coffee because it is watery and lukewarm. This morning however, badly needing a cup I decided to get a cup and, yet again, it was lukewarm. I returned it and got another cup from another pot.

I tried to inform this rude and abusive employee/manager that the coffee was not hot. I said "excuse me" (two times) with her standing directly in front of me before she slowly acknowledged me and then she acted very annoyed that I had said anything to her!

I don't even want to come in there in the mornings anymore because I am tired of hearing all the abuse coming from behind the counter where she is. Unfortunately, all this is going on right out in the open. I am surprised you haven't heard of this before! I can only imagine how the employees feel that she is reprimanding and the ones that work around her.

I am taking the time to finally speak out about this. It is really sickening. This doesn't even address the SLOW, chatterbox cashiers who carelessly ring up your groceries while talking to friends or other cashiers.

The customer service, especially in her area near the bakery and breads, etc. is unacceptable! A person could come in on almost any given day and experience what I am telling you about.

When I called The Fresh Grocer/Drexeline today to get a store manager's name, I was put on hold and then hesitantly given the name "Shawn". The would not give a last name and said the person didn't have a regular schedule in-store. I also got a lot of attitude.

I tried to send an email to the address on the website but it came back to me. There's no way to get in touch with anyone there and it seems they could care less how they are perceived to the public. The professionalism is zero!

They need to be trained in customer service, politeness and professional ethics.

I have had just about all I can take with this and will not shop at Drexeline anymore. We do family shopping there on a semi-regular basis but NO MORE! Without any change in customer service, we will take our family shopping somewhere else!!
