When my wife and I first walked in we we're impressed by the furniture they had on display in their show room. They seemed nice at first.

We picked out a nice bed and the salesman, Gabe, told us that the queen sized version and a blanket trunk that went at the end would run us $2000. We told him we didn't need a blanket trunk and would probably get a king size, though we weren't sure.

He seemed overly upset that we would turn down his trunk and asked us how much we would pay for the King. We told him $1800 (or $300 more than just the queen), which he reluctantly agreed on. We found that very shady, as this isn't a turkish bazaar and there should be a set price; but it seemed like a fair deal so we let it slide.

We asked him how long the shipping would take and he told us, blankly, 4 weeks. We were happy with that and decided to go with the deal. Two days later we returned with the deposit of $600, but, after mulling more about the space of our bedroom, we decided to go to the queen after all. Strangely, he told us that it would cost $1600, not $1500 like he had told us before. When he realized we noticed this, he changed it back to $1500. We signed the paperwork and shook hands.

After 3 weeks I decided to call and asked how the bed was going. Gabe seemed very upset and bothered that we would even ask and told us the bed was not finished. I shrugged that off and decided to just call when it was done.

Two weeks to the day later, I called and asked when the date and time of delivery was. Gabe angrily informed us that, quote, "We agreed on 6 to 8 weeks." I was taken back as this was far from what he originally said. Once again, my wife and I shrugged it off as we were under the impression that it would be worth it.

I called again after the 6th week to ask what the status of the bed was and Gabe told us that it was nearly finished and he was waiting on a part to come in from Mexico. I agreed and waited once more.

The 7th week rolled around and I decided to call again. Gabe told us that we would have it on that Saturday after Christmas. We were relieved and agreed.

That Saturday afternoon, Gabe called us up and informed us that he could not deliver the bed that day and that it would probably be early the next week!!

The following Tuesday I called once more and asked when the delivery date was and they had no idea that there was such a thing and informed us that they would check into it and call us right back. They didn't, and the next day when I called they informed us that the bed was not even completed!

I was fed up and told them that I would like a full refund and would like it that day. He told us that he could not do it even though he was at work, the business was not open and it wouldn't be until Saturday that we could get a refund.

On Saturday we finally got the refund in full (it took only 30 seconds and a few angry glances).

The Furniture Ranch is unprofessional, rude and highly untrustworthy. After reading the other complaints on this site, I'm glad I asked for my refund.

We hope the BBB gets them before they try to Rip anyone else off.
