The Gardens at Piedmont The Park at Chateau is a scam! Stay AWAY or you will regret it!! Huntsville, Alabama

My wife and My 2 children moved here from Georgia, we were told that south Huntsville was best to live so we looked at modest priced apartments, and we found The Gardens at Piedmont. The atmosphere was quiet of course it was a weekday afternoon when most everyone was at work The office was clean but I started to notice a roach the manager just laughed it off saying yeah they've been pretty bad this year. Let me cut to chase... Bugs, all of the time roach motel here no spraying bring your own, Dangerous we live on the second floor, the rail is so loose you could easily push it over by leaning hard, plus there are bars off where kids can slide through, kids like racing? well on some nights you'll have three or four kids running around the second floor walkway at near break-neck speeds. You like soaps? you dont need a tv all the action is usually just next door, unusual odors... Come home from a night out and get some very peculiar smells unidentifiable uh yeah get some glade candles for sure. Fixing thing the toilet seat fell off... so the maintenance man says "you know how to fix that right?" What??!! The towel rack was held in sheetrock by nails, not too bright the fridge had some form of yellow stains all around the door, and sticky on the sides from grease splatter, the carpet is like a moving wall of water it like a rug shar-pei dog. Dont be late, we were under a month and the hatefullness really takes hold, eviction notices if not paid by mid month, The hospitality cop is a joke! My daughter catches a bus to school, so one morning a car flies by the bus as children are getting on. I brought it to the attention on the HPD officer he says "what can I do about it" This place is insane!!! If you want to keep your peace at mind and want a nice place to relax try jones valley instead, because if you come here the 678.00 month rent will not buy you much more that a headache. Invest that money in a coffin because that might be what you'll need to get any rest around here.

As  of  12/29/2009 my kids are staying at distant relatives and my wife and I are sleeping in our vehicle until we can find another property that is actually not a drug supply safe house.  But we were given the OPTION to be out by Christmas Eve or be evicted the following courthouse day.  So we moved during Christmas all of our belongings in storage no Christmas for our 2 children and now just hoping to find a good family home to bring the family back into one house.  I absolutely despise this place!  It took, and then said thank heres the door.  Stay away from this rental property no matter what... the name will change probably but the address will most likely always be 515 Chateau Drive SW Huntsville, AL.
