I have to tell you that reading these stories make me feel not so alone any more. I was looking for a real business to work at from home to support my family. I was very careful (I thought). I spent several months in my search, got all kind of offers, get rich quick schemes among them. I didn't fall for any of them. When TGC contacted me, they sounded like a good business, a business that if you work hard you can succeed and make a living.

I spent about 2 months investigating TGC before I sent them a check for $3725. I didn't have the whole amount of $7450 they were asking for, so they agreed to half of the amount upon signing the affiliate agreement to start doing business and another half by 03/2005. Before I signed this affiliate agreement I investigated this company, and couldn't find any negative statements. I checked the Arizona, Phoenix BBB, I wonder why they didn't have any bad records about TGC (I found entries on this site as far back as July/2004). I checked some of the trade organizations TGC had listed. I also checked sites where fraud is reported (sadly, I didn't run into this one). I contacted all the affiliate numbers TGC gave me as references (just for the record Mr. Trevor Manning (TX), Mrs. Andrea Salomon (NY), Mr. John Weston (Australia). All these numbers are now disconnected.

Once I started working I had contact with Sonya Molina, Steve Arnold, Jerry Park, Mike G, and at last with Garret Silva assistant vice-president of TGC who contacted me after I cc'd Shannon Holden in one of my emails. Let's not forget Alex Michaels, the salesman that got me into this unfortunate experience.

I worked month after month very hard with no support at all, just to find their system obsolete, more than 70% of their products outside of surplus price range, very poor services and their training just limited to quick answers to emails if any. TGC sent me what they call written training material which it was the same as their website with a lot of filler.

I called hundreds of potential customers, some were kind enough to let me know the prices were too high. I have records of all these calls, plus emails to TGC complaining about their mentoring, prices, services and leads. Finally when the breach of contract was so obvious, I requested my money back. After waiting for a reply with no luck, I filed a complaint at the Arizona, Phoenix BBB website.

After a few days, the BBB told me they were unsuccessful reaching the company and couldn't be of further assistance. They gave me contact info for the Arizona Attorney General, so I filed an online complaint through their website. I haven't heard from them yet.

This is my story. Please contact me through the rebuttal key perhaps we can all join a class action suit. Does anyone know if one exists?

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

Dear Anthony,

I have no words to express my gratitude for the valuable information you have provided. I am sick indeed to have been in contact with such corrupted individuals that not only stole our few savings, but lie to us, exploited us and hurt our families with no remorse, considering all these activities just part of the job. I wonder myself what kind of job is that.

I am glad the Federal Trade Commission caught them, now we just have to see if the judicial system of this great country will make them pay for all that they have done using fictitious names and unethical practices. I know they are going to pay in one way or another (what goes around comes around). I truly believe in that saying. If we can witness it, I'll be more than pleased, so I will contribute by giving any kind of information I may possess that could help the authorities to stop these criminals.

Even though these people put me in a vulnerable position, I am not mad at them. I won't become hateful or untrusting or in any way have fewer values than the ones I already have acquired. I won't give them that pleasure. To the contrary, I already became wiser and more careful about who I will trust next time around. Even though they hurt me and I am sick, I will heal and I will grow. In consequence I'll be a better person than I was before. They pushed me down, but I will get up.

Since running into this website, I thank every one of you that have contributed to my healing process sharing your stories, and I hope you grow as well. This world needs good people. Lets make it stronger, not weaker. Special thanks to you, Anthony.
