Being a retired couple, we decided to join AARP, and found out that we could save money with their partner co, the hartford auto insurance. What a ripoff!!!!!.  AQfter two years of doing business with the hartford, we have yet to get the same quotes, policy updates , or any info at all from their miraid of service reps. One agent tells us one thing, the next tells us something different. But all the while, our rates for auto insurance goes through the roof.  We were quoted a price to renew our policy for 2010. But when the bill came, it was twice the quote and again, when we called, we were handed off to a score of other agents, all withj their own idea of what our premium should ne. Last year our auto ins went up, because I refused their homeowners ins. Tell me. Why did AARP partner with such an underhanded bunch of thieving liars like this??  Being a senior citizen does not mean being stupid. All I have to say to the hartford is  YOU ARE FIRED.!!!!!!!!!:(
