I moved to New York for a while and I rented from these guys. When I moved back home they did not return my deposit. Not a penny. I mean I left that place so clean you could eat off the floor. My deposit was used to repaint the walls. Are you kidding? There was nothing wrong with the walls. It was like new!!!!
I want my money and I want it right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how it is where you are but in California you can get triple damages if they do not return your deposit on time. I'd check into that.

Check with someone who knows. There are laws where they HAVE to give you your money back under normal circumstances.

If you are really due a refund, small claims
court is the way to go. If you win in small claims court, chances are
your complaint is valid. If not, you probably weren't due one in the
first place. They should be able to sort out your complaint pretty
inexpensively.
