I was approached by what I thought was a T-mobile rep (it really was a Mobile Solution rep)in late 2005 about what a great deal on a phone they had. I told them I still had prepaid minutes on my other phone, then I would be looking for a different phone at a later date. The salesperson informed me that I could get the FREE phone now and then activate it at a later date. He even sweetened the deal by giving me the sixth month free. So I figured as long as I use up my other pre-paid minutes, why not sign up with them and get a free phone and the sixth month free.

Come to find out, they charged my Bank account $250 for what I believe the saleperson acctivated my account the DAY I received the free phone and put a hold on it and not the later date like I had asked. I escalated from the kiosk manager at the mall to his supervisor, and then I had to go through activation people which took 3 days to FINALLY talk to someone. After talking to a person about the charges, she said she would refund me. So I was happy until the next morning when I find ANOTHER $250 charge added to my bank account. After that nobody has contacted me and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach someone at their number 1-888-988-8882.So I am out $500 TOTAL so far.

On another note....

AUTHOR: Donny - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

I have had my own experiences with the mobile solutions and unfortunately i didn't only have to learn my lesson once , but rather twice. As the former employee did state, he thought he was part of a valued and reputable company that has honest ties and dealings with a bigger organization to promote good business, that definite is not the case. I made the mistake of assuming that the kind representatives were knowledgeable and genuine, I should have never allowed them to take and imprint. I activated 8 lines with them to provide my family service. No wonder the rep was overly enthusiastic. Sure enough i did not know everything that i was getting into and i am paying the price. my fico score has taken a gigantic hit and i am in substantial trouble and am not able to get lines of service anywhere because of this. Any one taking note, this is ridiculous, ((REDACTED Social Security #))). Do whatever you want with it, maybe you will have better luck than me. It is not my concern anymore.

Be aware and cautious. Protect your self so it doesnt happen to you.

Who would have thought?

After reading these, who would have thought that such premier markets as arizona and upstate new york take part in fraudulent and dishonest activity like this? I was always under the impression that we are an honest company that is great to work for. I guess its all about who you know.

Mobile Solution isn't always a solution at all

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 06, 2006

Good evening;

I work for T-Mobile and have done so for 3 1/2 years. I am a team lead in a company-owned call center (not outsourced). Here is some information about Mobile Solution specifically.

When equipment is purchased from Mobile Solution, there are several contracts that are signed for that equipment. One is a T-Mobile service agreement that goes over the information regarding T-Mobile. The other contract that is signed is one with The Mobile Solution's corporate owner. One of the very specific terms in the contract from Mobile Solution states that if you break the contract from Mobile Solution that they will directly charge your credit card for $250.00 to recoup the cost of the discount that is given. This is one reason that many customers ask to speak to me instead of talking to my representatives that I watch over. In all reality, this company is not owned by T-Mobile and is one of many ways to purchase equipment and sign up for another company's service.

In my experience with not only direct corpate owned stores as well as (company jargon) indirect stores (resellers) it is always best to go to a direct T-Mobile retail location. These can be found on T-Mobile's website with two clicks of the mouse and in many cases are much much MUCH more accountable (and easier to deal with) to our customers than the indirect stores.

As a side note, if a dealer promises something such as the 6th month of service for free, make sure that they TYPE IT ON THE SERVICE AGREEMENT!!! The reason for this is so that if it comes into dispute later and we ask for the service agreement in unaltered form (not written on) we do not deny something that was legimately offered to you.

I hope this information helps!
