The Mortgage Modification Center - TRYING TO BILK US TOO! Stockton California

Well, we started with MMC the end of 2008. As of May 2009, our matter had changed hands five times from the onset. No updates as requested, ignored emails until we finally sent to Cameron Pannabecker. AND YES, we got immediate assistance by yet another person in the company only to get a 'nothing is happening' email. We asked for proof of contacts with the mortgage and and received an impressive list. However, we have proof from the mortgage company that the contacts the MMC employee said were made, WERE NOT! Four out of the list of 20+ provided to me were true per the mortgage company.

We told them no more do we want them involved. We also contacted our mortgage holder to not provide info to them. Shortly thereafter, we also received a letter threatening that if we get the loan mod ourself, that they will also expect to be paid the balance of their fee. We ignored their letter to sign the agreement to that. Once burnt, twice shy! Sorry fella. Our lawyer has been contacted and we will bring charges if they further pursue us for this fee for a service that was not in keeping with their promise on the video at the time we entered into the agreement.

Folks, YOU can do the modification negotiations yourself. DON'T PAY ANYONE FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE, EVER! We have made more progress in to months than these 'so-called professionals' did in 6 months. Our modification request is now at FreddieMac for their approval. It does take time, but, you CAN do it yourselves.
