The Moving Company Stole deposit Fort Lauderdale FL

What started out as a pleasant experience went very wrong when they presented me with the mover who would be moving my belongings. The reviews on Yelp for Infinity Moving were abismal, some saying they were threatened with bodily harm if they didn't pay them more money once their things were already loaded on the truck. I told them I didn't want that mover and they got back to me with another but tried to charge me 7200. even though the contract I signed was 'binding' at 5200. They have a cancellation policy which states that you must cancel the move no later than 5 days before the pick-up date, but, they only present you with the less than mediocre moving company within five days of pick up. Also, the deposit is 995.00! You would do better to shop around for a different broker.
