THE ORIGINAL MATTRESS FACTORY OMF Buyer Beware. OMF Ripoff Artist Cleveland, Ohio

Dear Ron,

Your representative came into my house and examined the bed. Proceeded to tell me that what I was feeling is not the springs and that the bed is not as hard as cement. He does not lie in it night after night. I challenge you Ron to sleep on it for a week and see how your back feels. I have read on many websites including this one and on your Facebook page that other customers are reporting the same issue, the bed is like sleeping on cement. The springs are pushing through  to the top, I believe it will only be a matter of time before they come through.

His solution was to bring a foam mattress topper to put on the bed. I shouldn't need one. The bed is six months old and is a super pillow top.  He also came into my house and threatened to sue me.  His solution to the problem is that OMF take the  mattress back to the factory tear it apart and measure the cotton on the inside and the foam padding, to see if it meets your company specifications for padding depth. I have never been treated so badly by a company and their representatives. I don't understand how a company that is supposed to stand by its commitment to customer service continues to be abrasive and unsympathetic to my needs. They took my  money with out any issues and I gave it to them for a fair trade of a quality mattress, this did not happen.

Your representative also came into my house and proceeded to knock my picture off of the wall causing a rip in it. This picture cannot be replace. How are you going to replace my picture. I want my money back. I want you Ron and OMF to stop selling an inferrior product. Buyer beware, do not buy anything from The original Mattress Factory. I encourage you to go onto as many websites that you can find and see what other customers have reported before buying a mattress. For those of you who have bought from OMF and have had a similar experience go to the Better Business Bureau and report  The Original Mattress Factory for selling you a product that is inferior and does not meet any quality standard. Buyer Beware save your money and your back.

The Original Mattress Factory makes quality products and stands firmly behind these products.  Since you have already scheduled an appointment, our service represenative will come out and inspect your product for defects.  If any exist (including errors in workmanship, body impressions over an inch and a half, etc.), please note that these are covered under our warranty and we will take care of them for you.

If it turns out that you are simply unhappy with the comfort of the product,  please note that we do have a Comfort Policy.  According to this policy, you may re-select another mattress one time only within the first year of purchase.  Your existing mattress can be donated with proof of donation or it will have to be thrown away as we only sell brand new products.  As far as the new mattress is concerned, you are responsible for the following:  25% of the less expensive mattress only price, any applicable re-delivery fees and any applicable retail up-charges (if you re-select a more expensive mattress).  In other words, this policy allows you to get a brand new mattress for only 25% of the cost.  We cover the other 75%.
