I want to know why The Pingry School is harboring a well known drug abuser, Carolyn Gibson, and letting her remain on their faculty. They let this known stoner teach and also hold an administrative position at this private school. People have previously spoken up about witnessing Gibson doing drugs but it's been to no avail. One look at her and anybody can figure out she damaged her brain cells over the years, beyond repair, with her illegal substances.
Yes, illegal. Drugs are illegal! Drug usage and drug possession ARE FELONIES in the state of New Jersey. In fact, if someone is caught in possession of drugs in the state of New Jersey while they are within 1,000 feet of a school, they get a higher penalty, and deserve it. This Carolyn Gibson woman isn't just near the school, she's inside of the school. If a drug abusing felon can get a higher penalty for being near a school with drugs, why is THIS PARTICULAR FELON allowed to teach and administrate a school and be near the students with her drugs? What is going on at The Pingry School, and why isn't this stopped?

Why the School Probably Allows Such a Person on the Faculty

I found out why the school no doubt allows such a woman with such a history of drug abuse to remain on their precious faculty. Can you believe this? Drug abusers' jobs are protected under the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT! It's incredible, but it's true! This permanently stoned woman is protected from being fired because in the eyes of the law she is "disabled," which is totally ridiculous, since really, she disabled herself by choosing drugs in the first place!
The Pingry School probably wants to toss her off their staff but cannot do it. If she wants to stay there until she is 85 they will no doubt have to put up with her. I only hope no additional children get hurt by her while her superiors are too scared to fire her for fear she will sue them because she pickled her own brain voluntarily! How ridiculous! We live in a country that protects the guilty!
God help the students, that's all I can say! Though if I think of a few more things I can say about all of this, I will.

No Lie Lives Forever

Mrs. Gibson "sneering invective," Malibu Cliffs, that had me laughing out loud! That's exactly the way she spoke to me as a parent! How does she lives with herself?
Seriously, you have to truly wonder why that school keeps her on its staff. How can she be expected to adequately act "in loco parentis" and watch over her classroom if there is a better than even chance she's coming in high every day like she was when my daughter was being subjected to her madness? "Send your children to a private school," these places all say, "and they'll be with a better class of people." What a lie! That and "small schools have a family atmosphere." Yes, they sure do, a dysfunctional family atmosphere! My daughter didn't have to deal with druggies anyplace else, just when she knew those two Gibsons, when they were high and behind the wheel of the school bus.
I say Gibson must have something on that place and it must be major. Maybe she has a video of the Board of Trustees muckety-mucks pole dancing in their scanties or something!

What Does the School Gain by Keeping These People On Staff?

My experience with private schools was that they aren't run like schools but more like money-hungry desperate charities. In a private school, how much money your parents donate can even determine how well a student gets treated! They are not the most professional places on the planet, as a result. They're bad news. Any private school that downgrades these kids to upgrade those kids whose parents just donated money for the new gym isn't a decent or healthy place for kids, no matter if they hand them advanced reading material in English class or start them in Spanish lessons in kindergarten or not. Advanced academics doesn't trump bad ethics.
But what exactly is Pingry gaining by keeping the people who are being reported all over Ripoff Report on their staff? That's what I would like to know. Pingry never had a great reputation in the first place due to the amount of drug abuse that went on there among the students, that place was considered a joke, but they're harboring a drug abuser who's a teacher? I remember that woman from Vail-Deane. She was always sneering invective at the kids and she should have been sent packing back then.
Why would Pingry want to keep her there? Wouldn't you think she's nothing but a disgrace to them especially after people have outed her on the Internet? Whoever wrote the other report is right, Pingry really is harboring a drug abuser and drug abuse is against the law, so what's their point here? Adding some psychedelic color to the place with an overgrown hippie?
And wouldn't you think Vail-Deane would pay some of us kids some reparations for the way they treated us already?
