The Private Equity Institute Owned By Matthew Murray, Aka PEI Private Equity Institute Private Equity Institute is no Institute, it's a first-class RIPOFF New York, New York

I signed up for the Private Equity Institute and had a few conversations with Matthew Murray, its scamster, lying, owner. I told him I have 4 spinal problems and I would not be able to make the course on the date I signed up for because I was being admitted to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, a REAL hospital, part of the Harvard Medical School family. Mr. Murray and I chatted for quite a while about private equity, politics and aviation. He told me he has a helicopter and a yacht. What he didn't tell me is that he was dismisssed surreptitiously from Rodman & Renshaw for a lot of reasons. I suspect lying is right at the top of them.

Once I found out I have to have 4 spinal surgeries, I told Mr. Murray --- excuse me "Dr" Murray as hee likes to be called, since he has a PhD (big deal, he wrote a 300 -400 page paper, probably at a Mickey Mouse school, just like his PEI).

There is no private equity institute. All "classes"are "taught" at the University Club in new York, of which he probably scams a friendship's membership from. Hey Matt: If you hadn't been such a liar to me, you could have worked out something at The Harvard Club, where I am a member.

Murray used to spout this vomit about "trust, but verify"stealing the words of President Reagan. Too bad I didn't do that with him.

I know a few people who took the course and they are unemployed with no prospects. He posts jobs on his sham of a website, but I doubt any of the positions are real. Murray is also trying to start a private equity stock exchange and tried to sucker me into putting money into that. Friends of mine who are in major law firms like Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft have told me there is no chance a private equity stock exchange will come to be in the USA anytime in the near future.

The thing that makes Murray no man, but a lying scamster is the fact he told me that because of my extenuating circumstances and my many hospitalizations because of my spine, I could retake the course anytime without any penalties. I agree with the person from Los Angeles: STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAMSTER AS POSSIBLE. Also, Murray has a "frontman"named ugene"with a 914 area code. That tells you right there there is no private equity institute in Manhattan. 914 is the area code for Westchester County, not New York City. There is no PEI office in Manhattan --- enough said?

Also, the person I spoke with told me that Murray's "course"is nothing anyone couldn't learn by reading a good book by the publisher John Wiley & Sons in the first 3 - 6 chapters.

The "tuition" for this course is $1,000.00 or more. That will buy a lot of books on private equity.

Next stop: reporting this bum to the New York State Attorney General's office

P. S. -- Ask Murray to explain why Rodman & Renshaw fired him and he hasn't had a full-time job on Wall Street since then.
