RoomStore Rip-Off

I went to the RoomStore in Waldorf, MD. I order a piece of furniture and had to have it delivered because they did not have any storage spaces. I had to pay them $50 to deliver this piece of furniture. It was due to be delivered to my house on Jan. 3, 2002, it snowed the night before and that morning. I received a called from their delivery people telling me that their delivery man was at the top of my road and wanted me to meet him because he would not come down my street and deliver my furniture. But he wanted me to meet him so he could load it on my truck, which I do not own. He refused to deliver my furniture, so I called the next day to see if it was being deliver they told me no it had been shipped back to North Carolina. I called the store and talked to an assistant manager who had an attitude and didn't want to deal with my complaint when she finally did she told me they would return my delivery cost once my furniture was delivered again in two weeks and give me a $50 gift certificate to their store. Well long story short I ended up canceling my furniture because they told me if it snowed again their driver still would not deliver and my furniture would be returned to north carolina again and I would have to keep reordering. If I were anyone I would never shop at one of their stores. They are rude to customers and don't care that you don't get your furniture.
