Purchased a subscription to the Ruff Times Newsletter, I heard about him on a radio program, I called in because they offered a refund, no questions asked, if you weren't satisfied with the service. I canceled as per their refund policy.

I ordered their Hi-Q vitamins as well, which also had a money back satisfaction guarantee. I returned the three emply bottles that did me no good after the trial period
I contacted a representative by phone, and I made my request for a money-back refund. After numerous calls and emails, I still have not received by money back. They have given me excuses about not being able to refund my credit card etc. The guy is a millionare who won't even honor his own return policy. What a scam!

I was finally issued a credit after faxing the company this report and going through a number of other steps. It wasn't easy but persistence pays off. Do your best to check out the company before you purchase, i.e. search on web/usenet.

good luck

I only wanted to try one bottle of the vitamins, but they insisted I had to finish 3 bottles for a fair trial before they would honor the money back guarantee. I would have been happy to pay for the vitamins if I noticed any difference at all, which I didn't. I repeat, I would not have tried them without a guarantee!

#1 Consumer Suggestion

You sound like a hard person to satisfy.

You didnt like the magazine, so you demanded a refund.

Then, you ate 3 bottles of vitamins and felt that they weren't any good either. Personally, I'd have figured out the vitamins weren't working after 3 days. But, that's me.

Nevertheless, if the company offered a refund, then you have the right to take them up on it. Read through the complaints here until you find out how to get your card issuer to assist you in a chargeback.

Who knows? While you're reading, you just might run across another company that cheated you. Make it a triple-header, while you're at it.
