The Shutter Company - Yusef Elansari 50% deposit paid 5 months ago. No shutters and no return of deposit as promised. Internet

I made an online enquiry via the website and a guy named Rob came to measure up and quote last November.  I later decided to proceed and paid my 50% deposit, which was thankfully only for one window.  Same story as with everyone else, the shutters weren't delivered when promised.  I had to chase them to get any contact - as before, the phone number advertised is just an answering service and nothing to do with the company.  I finally get a response from Yusef Elansari with a sob story about having to change suppliers, saying I could get a refund of my deposit or place my order via their new supplier and get a discount of 25% off the overall cost.  As it would take the same time to go elsewhere I agreed to this and surprise surprise - still no shutters over 3 months later.  Yusef promises to return my deposit but the cheque never arrives.  Can't believe I didn't think to check online for reviews before ordering, but am just so thankful it wasn't a huge loss of money unlike others on here.  The principal is the issue though so I'll be going to trading standards and Rogue Traders etc etc.  Yusef was keen to tell me how good the company are and that last year (2012) they fitted lots of shutters.  Based on other identical reports on here he's clearly a conman so I intend to do all I can to expose him as such - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
