BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY SEEKERS BEWARE! Of a Full-Page
ad that has been running in various Opportunity Magazines
that I've been aware of since 1997. I was introduce by a friend
about these money-making sources and he had seen this
particular Ad many years prior to 1997. Unfortunately the two of
us were naive to the point that we mistakely thought longevity
meant credibility.
Mr. Zaken states in his Full-Page Ad that he's offering you a
position as his personal associate in what he calls a
fascinating and pecurliar profitable business by using his
technique to accumulate rapid and substantial wealth. He says
that this can be done all from your own home by just investing
2-6 hours a week and not having to spend a dime out of your
pocket.
But just in case you're skeptical he tells you he will send you all the information free of charge for 31 days if you are interested in becoming independent and your own boss to just send him a $10.00 post-dated check. This will allow you to weigh and analyze the whole proposition, then and only if you're excited about his Wealth-Building-Opportunity he will guide you
step-by-step like partners towards one goal only...to bring in
Profits.
So at this point I sent for this great opportunity and received
what I thought would be the total package which turned out to
be his 23 page (Confidential Report on How To Use The Power
of My Wealth-Building Technique And My Personal Association
to Make $4,280 each month or Probably Much More.) Mr.
Zakens report was loaded with promises enough to keep you
salivated to want to know more. But on the first page I'd realize
that he had conventiently left out the hidden cost to get this
bussiness started it would cost you $148.00+tax for what he
called his Risk-Free Inspection Request with a full No-Risk,
Double Money Back Guarantee.
Now the (Confidential Report) of course read like the chance of
a lifetime, that this was being offered to only the first 50
respondents to participate in a one-month-marketing test. You
must agree to read the plan, work with him, give him your
honest opinion of its usefulness, disclose precisely how much
money it earned you, and agree to allow him to use your
statement as a testimonial. Also would be included an $89
bonus that would show you how to earn up to $80,000 a year in
addition of what you'd earn in working with him. This would be
his compimentary gift just in case you weren't one of the 50
respondents it was only fair since you had given him your time
and attention. You would be entitled to the bonus he said to
soften your dissppointment, and of course your un-cashed
check in return. Needless to say I never saw an $89 bonus.
Mr. Zaken supposely the owner of a company
(QUICK-SELL-LIQUIDATORS) was offering you the job of a
(Closeout Merchandise Finder) with his simple instructions all
you would do is call, write, fax, or e-mail manufacturers,
wholesalers, and other suppliers. This was a huge untapped
market with risk of never having to spend any of you own
money, you'd receive free gifts all year long beause this was
one of the perks of the business, never sell , stock, or advertise anything you'd be gathering leads with the sources he'd direct and show you where to find. He would show you how to make Free Long Distance Calls all over the Country and never have a cent charged to your telephone bill. The most important and the biggest offer from Mr. Zaken was that he repeatly stated all through the manual that as his partner once he buys and
closes the deal with the Seller he'd send you 50% of the Profits.
He said his half is money he wouldn't have made if it weren't for
my efforts.
Well after sending for the 148.00+tax Risk-Free Inspection
Request which was an 89 page manual I guess symbolic for
the $89 bonus gift I never received "Lol." I read it from cover to cover but the Clencher was that 50% Profits was no where to
be found, Free Long Distance Calls ,or Free Perks. I immediatly
e-mail Mr.Nick Lasorsa (General Manager) of QUICK
-SELL-LIQUIDATORS who had sent me my welcome aboard
letter asking him to direct me to the free call source. At that time I hadn't even realized the compensation issue. I must say the manual was very well written of course making Mr. Zaken
appear to be an expert in the exciting field of Liquidation that
you didn't grasp all the important facts. Well any way Mr.
Lasorsa immediatly replied by directing me the 800AT&T
Directory, www.thomasregister, Directory of US Importers., and
to shop around for the cheapest Long Distance Company.
Huh? What happen to the never incurring a long distance bill?
At this point I started thinking about all the slick deceptive
ploys thats going on with this company so I send another
e-mail both addressed to Nick Lasorsa and Mr. Zakens asking
for subtantiation of company statistics of growth, current
business size, financial stability, and a bona-fide Business
Contractual Agreement. Needless to say I was ignored. After a
reasonable amount of time, I faxed the two of them requesting a
refund of all monies paid and that I didnt want to hear that I
hadn't tried the business for 31 days because, it was crazy that
he had the nerver to think I was going to work for nothing. I
also told him that I would do everything in my power to expose
his shrewed shoddy business tactics.
Although, I did immediatly receive my refund things still have
not sat well with me. I was in the process of ordering a
Voice-mail box, sending to him for Letterheads, Envelopes,
Business Cards and his Manufactures Directory all at the tune
of $300.00. He did say that the directory wasn't mandatory but
for a professional business appearance the Stationary was
needed. I feel that I have been Ripped-Off wasted time, energy
and hope of being part of a Liquidation business and insulted
that he prosposed such a scheming scam. I could have
possibably ruin my reputation had I started contacting these
manufactures, wholesalers, and suppliers. Just think how
scandalous that could have been. My concern is mainly for the
individuals that did'nt get there money back because they're to
embarrased or not aware of how to approach a situation like
this. These Business Opportunities need to be put out of
operation because they can jepordize families, self esteem,
trust and even suicide for some. Mr. Zakens has been running
this Full-Page Ad for years and banks on people just chalking
this up as a loss or like my friend who has order the full
package but has tossed it to the side and never read it. If this
information doesn't put Mr. Zakens out of business at the least
maybe it will decrease his sales because the information given
here he charges you for.
By the way Mr. Zakens operates under 6-7 addresses including
faxes, e-mails, and ordering numbers. I wonder why?
Any responses will be welcomed. Would love to hear if
someone else has had an experience with this company.

THE ZAKEN COMPANY (TIRAN ZAKEN)HOW TO MAKE MONEY

Their relationship to the company: Advocate
Rebuttal:
I am an Advocate for the Consumers that are victimized by this
company.
"My oh my " Mr. Alagier it's good to know that there are still
people out there who operate on the Biblical Concept Blind
Faith (like sheep led astray in a pasture).
If you had really grasp the obvious reason for my Rip-Off
Complaint you would have known that giving up on Mr.Zakens
program had nothing to do with not allowing it to prove itself.
Mr.Zakens deceptive, non-responsive, and evasive ways of
presenting his so-called (Quick-Sell Liquidation Business) is
what persuaded, and prompted mistrust in his character and
integrity. However, inspite of the first clear lie I encountered
(Re: to Free Long Distance Calls and never having to spend a
penny out of pocket).
I still was willing to pursue the business after Mr. Nick Lasorsa
supposedly General Manager who I believe may be....
AKA/Tiran Zaken had informed me to get a cheap Long
Distance Company. Oh and I do have every letter of correspondence to Mr. Zaken and Mr. Lasorsa which shows prove how they ignored me when I began to ask for documentation of the
Company Growth, Longevity of Business, and a Bona-fide
Contractual Payment Agreement before I would proceed to go
any further.
"Mr. Alagier "should I an average consumer be faulted for
presenting such common ordinary questions that any proud
business owner would be glad to answer such as ,stating how
long ones Company has been in business?
If Mr. Zaken is so reputable how come on the Internet (under
Liquidators his company there's nothing to be found except for
one e-mail address. I've inquired to the site Inforocket.com and
was told that the concern with "The Zaken Company" is the
unavailability of a phone number and the fact of not being able
to locate any information about" Tiran Zaken " and
that if I was still interested in pursuing what the Zaken
Company had to offer they d suggest that I investigate it
further.
Well Mr. Alagier most likely AKA/Tiran Zaken Company /
friend/associate "lol". How about verifying some proof of that
$7,363.00? If Mr. Zakens Company is a (legitimate company
then explain to me why then, as I stated in my complaint in
reference to the 23 page (Confidential Report), did he feel such
a need to stress the compensation issue? He stated as his
personal Associate/ Closeout Liquidator Finder, continual
reference to
50% of the profits. But once he'd gotten your $148.00+tax fee
for the start-up package it is at this point, there's never again
mentioned 50% or any payment for your service and efforts in
the business.
Please if there are any supporters out there for Mr. Zakens
Company that can substantiate that this is a legally registered
Business with such industries as Chambers of Commerce,
Thomas Register, Federal Trades Commission etc? "Not until
then will I feel that the everyday consumer should feel
comfortable in being subjected to their insidious operating
tactics.
"Come on guys what are you hiding"?
Oh and please lets not forget about that victimized consumer
who filed a report on 4/8/01 with the badbusinessbureau.com
stating how they had been taken for $162.00. Also Mr. Alagier I
am forwarding all correspondence and materials in my
possession concerning the Quick-Sell- Liquidators Company
to the badbusinessbureau.com/Rip-Off -c/c the Editor and staff.
I believe Ed and his staff is the most qualified individual to
investigate this situation at the present time.
Sincerely

THE ZAKEN COMPANY (TIRAN ZAKEN)HOW TO MAKE MONEY
FROM HOME RIP-OFF (#4879)
They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:
Their email: JA@aol.com
Their name: Joseph Alagier
Their relationship to the company: Supporter
Rebuttal:
I've been associate of THE ZAKEN COMPANY for the past 3
month. I have purchased their money making program on
1/28/01 and received it 5 days later. I liked everything I read and
started applying Mr. Zaken's technique right away.
Mr. Zaken clearly explained how to go about locating closeout
merchandise and send the leads over to him once I find
merchandise. He also promised to pay me 50% of the profits
once his company sells the merchandise I locate.
Within 4 days of contacting companies Mr.Zaken suggested I
call in his manual, I located 13,000 earings the company wanted
to get rid of. I contacted mr Zaken's company (quick-sell
Liquidators) and turned over the information to them. 22 days
later I received a check from THE ZAKEN COMPANY for
$7,363.00. Mr. Zaken has a great program and does (from my
experience in dealing with him) stands by his word.
Perhaps some people give up before giving Mr. Zaken a chance
to prove his program works, and then complain that they've
been taken advantage of.
In fact, Mr. Zaken repeatedly stresses in his litarature that
"nothing works unless you work". I like this company very
much and never had any problem with them. I work with THE
ZAKEN COMPANY'S employees by phone and enjoy dealing
with everyone there.
