 Joshua Gregory Frank and his associate started small talk in at a local restaraunt. The conversation veered towards a home theater system that was leftover from an install job and they wanted to get rid of a projector and surround sound. After stating a value of thousands of dollars reflected on packaging MSRP label, they asked what i would be willing to pay for it after I made it clear that I couldnt justify spending that kind of money. It seems so stupid that i took the bait the more i think about the situation. I was hesitant for a while so he and his buddy made it sound like they were willing to let the items go at a super low rate just to get it off their hands. After all, he "is the owner/partner so hes not interested in making much money on the items." My story is identical to the one above in detail of pitches used, and as a deal too good to be true, mixed with shear naivete on my part. I know better and disregarded my instincts. Dont make the same mistake and throw away 300 dollars on bottom of the line, falsely advertised **** product. This is a total scam that has been repeated for decades. They use fake fedex material, receipts, and websites that respond to QR codes. Be aware of monster-vision projector with display screen. Flea market quality. Although the merchandise works, its crap, and definitely not 4k, 3d, etc. I just set it up in my kids room and will wait until it crashes. Shame on me for thinking someone was being cool. They,re d****ebags trying to make a shady buck. Trust your instinct.
