Purchased cell phone on Ebay thru Thebluedot company.  The description did not mention that the phone was remanufactured.  The cosmetic rating for the phone was 5 out of 5 even though you can see paint brush strokes covering the LG and Verizon logos.  Communication is nothing but talking in circles and even though a refund is an option it comes with a 20% restocking fee in this case about $15.00.  Do not purchase from Thebluedot unless you want dissatisfaction.

We respond to this customer personally and made sure the issue was completely resolved. A full refund was issued. The phone itself had a black mark across the lg. The phones are listed as 5 out of 5 cosmetically and it was advertised as an open boxed item. Upon receiving the phone back to us - we used a damp paper towel and the black mark completely erased from the phone. The black mark on the phone was the only blemish making the phone not look like brand new. We even reimbursed the customer for return shipping charges. 

Customer satisfaction and gaining repeat customers is our number one priority at TheBlueDot.net. We take our customers seriously - and you will see by searching the net - the positive reviews we have received from customers far out weighs the negative. We hope to better serve you next time, and hope that by contacting you directly - you will consider purchasing from us again in the future.

    Why didn't you answer my initial questions directly?  A refund has not been issued! I still have the phone because my question concerning the restocking charge was never answered directly.

We purchases these as new opened box items and we listed the items as such. After receiving your returned item - further investigation was needed to confirm that the phone itself was not paint brushed by the buyer. We process all returns we receive within 2-3 weeks as stated in our return policy. Upon inspection of the phones we had left in stock in our warehouse - none of them that were still in inventory had any indication of brush marks however, we did receive another "paint brushed" phones of the same model back to us from another customer and we issued full refunds for these purchases to both buyers. We also cover shipping costs 100% in this type of event. Again, we are truly sorry you had any issue at all and I will be personally reaching out to you regarding the matter. We only issue  20% restocking when the item is returned to us for buyer remorse. A full refund was issued to you for your phone and we also reimbursed you $4.95 for priority mail shipping to send the phone back to us. We back all of our items 100% in the event of a non-functioning item or an item like this which was mistakenly misrepresented. We sell several hundred phones daily online and we would not be in business if it was not for our repeat customers. Our customers satisfaction is our top priority - and any issue can easily be resolved by contacting us directly. We take our feedback seriously - and you can see by our reviews elsewhere online - over 90% of the reviews we receive are very positive. Again, I am truly sorry you felt the way you did and I look forward to contacting you directly to make sure this is definitely resolved.
