I sent in my RCA portable dvd player (rc5400p) along with a check for $79.95 for a replacement dvd player.
They (Thomson) had said that it was a exchange only product and not a replacement product. To send in the dvd player to: Thomson Product Exchange Center at Attn: SR03818864, 11721-B Alameda Ave. Socorro, Texas 79927, And to send the Check to: Thomson Inc. P.O. Box 1490, Durant, Ok. 74702-1490. Which I did.
I did all of that on Aug. 19,2004 and today for some reason (i don't know why) i just decided to call and check to see if they recieved my item and check.
All of a sudden the number they had given me was bogus, it didn't work any more. It did work before because, I called it and talked to people when i was getting all the information as to what i was suppose to do. Now that number no longer belongs to Thomson Products, Inc.
