thoroughbred houseboats built a 2011 model 16'x55' houseboat for me. the boat was delivered with many defects. some of which include dead shorts in the 240 voltage electrical system, loose steering, water leaks in some of the plumbing. a generator that would only run for 15 minuites at a time , then shut itself off. while attempting to bring the boat up the mississippy river we had a motor loose oil pressure & then the steering linkage fell apart leaveing us doing circles in the shipping lanes. crystal city fire dept. of mo. had to rescue us. during this process i incured a $2800.00 towing bill, a $1500.00 labor bill to replace the defective motor i have called the president of the company & begged for help, but he refuses saying these problems are all other manufactures responsibility

while thoroughbred houseboats has addressed some warranty issues for me on my boat, , they still refuse any compensation for my troubles.they also are attempting to help me sell the boat which i am also grateful for.apparently this report is causing some concern with potential buyers or customers of thoroughbred products.you may contact me directly at 507-467-2180 for a more detailed explanation.

I will keep this short, Mr. Adams is not being very truthful of his situation. But that is to be expected from someone that after they purchased the boat decided it just wasn't for them. There is so much more to all this and I can personally give out phone numbers to any of our current/past customers that will show that Thoroughbred is an honest company and cares about each and every customer they have. If anyone is reading this please call 606-688-2678 and ask for Shawn. He will be more than happy to help clear up any misunderstandings surrounding this man and his boat.
