Beware of TicketLiquidator - TicketLiquidator.com TicketLiquidator - TicketLiquidator.com - Ticket Arsenal. This company is a scam. They scalp tickets and sell them for almost double.
I purchased two tickets on Nov 29 2007. Here is a copy of the invoice:

Nov 29 2007 11:58AM
Tickets: 2 tickets at $94.00 each $ 188.00
- Service Fee $ 28.20
Delivery: 2-Day Delivery $ 15.00
Total: $ 231.20

What I received was two 49.50 tickets.

When I called and told them that they had sent me the wrong tickets they laughed at me and told me that is how they make their money. I asked who the CEO was of this company and they hung up on me. After several E-Mails and phone calls to Jordan Gardner, the person whose name was on the tickets, I was told there was nothing I could do and that I was screwed. The people are running a legal scalping ring and there should be laws to protect the consumer. I would not recommend using this company for anything. If you research them you will find that I am not the only one.

My customer experience with Ticket Liquidator

AUTHOR: partjt1 - (Netherlands)

Ticket Liquidator is an ticket agent and states this clearly in their website FAQ - section (link):

"The prices of event tickets on our website will therefore by independent of the face value of the tickets concerned - usually greater in value".

I bought two tickets via Ticket Liquidator.
I paid the amount I agreed upon for the tickets of my choice and got the them delivered as agreed.

#3 UPDATE Employee

Unfair Accusation of Ill Treatment and Price Inflation

AUTHOR: Colin - (U.S.A.)

I am an employee of TicketLiquidator responding to the commentary left by Tom about the nature of our service. Essentially, in his argument, Tom makes two criticisms about TicketLiquidator: First, he is upset because the tickets he purchased were almost double their face value. Second, he is upset because of what he perceives as ill treatment by our customer service representatives.

To begin with, I shall deal with what I regard as the more serious of the two accusations leveled by Tom -- namely, the ill treatment accusation. Indeed, the customer concerned gives the implication that TicketLiquidator is staffed by heartless employees who "laugh" at their clients. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth and I take issue with the claim that anyone "laughed" at Tom and "hung up" on him. The only time customer service representatives ever terminate a call at TicketLiquidator is if a customer becomes verbally threatening. Outside of that scenario, our call center employees are trained to take whatever the public throws at them and I must say they do it with stoic fortitude. Unfortunately, because Tom provides little information about the specificities of his order, I cannot check our order notes to see exactly what happened in his phone conversations. All I can say is that his accusation of cruel customer treatment does not ring true and that thousands upon thousands of satisfied customers could testify to this effect.

That being said, I shall now turn to TicketLiquidator itself and explain to everyone what it is we are and what it is we do. Most importantly, TicketLiquidator does not own the tickets that are posted on our website. Those tickets are actually possessed by a wide number of different people and licensed ticket sellers across the country. These people then post the tickets they have for sale on our website for the public to view and (if they're so inclined) to purchase. In short, TicketLiquidator and other secondary market websites are like an Ebay for tickets. As such, we do not price the tickets on our website nor do we posses them or ship them out. In most cases, we don't even charge your credit card when you purchase through us. All that is handled by the individual seller, who lists and actually has the tickets. These sellers price the tickets for whatever they think the public is willing to pay. Typically, this means that tickets on resale websites will be priced either above or below their face value.

On that note, I have to say that I sympathize with Tom regarding his frustration with the mark-up in ticket price. Indeed, none of us like to pay more for something than it was originally valued. However, I would reiterate that we at TicketLiquidator don't price the tickets on our website and that ticket sellers have a perfect right to price their property however they so choose. Besides, there are a large number of cases in which supply and demand in the market place mean that tickets end up selling below rather than above their face value. In other cases, it is wise to bear in mind that the mark-up in ticket prices on the resale market is often designed to cover the numerous expenses incurred by sellers to obtain hard-to-get tickets. Due to their services, we are all able to access good tickets to events that would normally be sold out and to do so on a convenient schedule that does not require us to wait by the phone the minute tickets go on sale at 12:00AM on Ticketmaster six months before the event.

However, that being said, we at TicketLiquidator do not want to "scam" anybody and therefore make it prominently known in our FAQ and Terms and Conditions that our ticket prices may be above face value. Indeed, we openly encourage all customers to be intelligent consumers and to shop around for tickets actively before making a purchase decision. Specifically, due to the fact that primary market prices are usually cheaper, I recommend that you always, always, ALWAYS check Ticketmaster or the venue of your event for tickets before going to a ticket resale site. Added to that, TicketLiquidator advertises our secondary market status openly to the public. There is no secret about it and we cannot possibly be blunter. Indeed, right under our Policies tab, there is a paragraph that begins with Above Face Value in bold.

Unfortunately, though, it seems to me that Tom purchased a little too hastily from our website before fully realizing what he was doing. Occasionally, indeed, this happens to customers who buy from a secondary market ticket website. Nevertheless, while I understand Tom's anger, I fear that it is misplaced. We at Ticketliquidator did nothing wrong to the customer concerned. We delivered our product and we followed through on our policies. Tom is simply unhappy that he didn't know what he was purchasing. However, in all fairness, I would point out that that was Tom's fault, not ours. Consumers should always research prices before they buy tickets and we support them in doing so. Why? Because we know, if you need a ticket resale site, chances are you will choose TicketLiquidator. We generally have the lowest prices on the secondary ticket market and we are very proud of that fact.

Lastly, Tom concludes his review with the following commentary: I would not recommend using this company for anything. If you research them you will find that I am not the only one. Naturally, of course, all businesses make mistakes and TicketLiquidator is no exception to this rule. However, to claim that evidence dictates we are a fraudulent company is simply not true. In fact, we are reviewed very well by professional review organizations on the internet (see links below). Furthermore, we are one of the largest secondary ticket-sellers in the country with access to the most expansive inventory of tickets. That and the fact that we've been in business since 2002 indicates that TicketLiquidator is far from a scam and that our customer satisfaction rate is exemplary.

All in all, therefore, I'm sorry that Tom is angry with his purchase, but TicketLiquidator did nothing wrong, and there is absolutely no basis behind his rip-off accusation against us.
