Timeshare Rescue had a seminar at the Dollartree Hotel in Cincinnati OH in July of 2008. The seminar was for people who were trying to unload timeshares that they no longer had use for or didn't want or couldn't sell. I attended the seminar and for them to take over your timeshare you had to pay them 7 times your annual maintenance fee so I paid them 2100.00 dollars via my Discover Card. Resort Transfer Services is an affiliate of Timeshare Rescue. As of July of 2008 I was told that I wouldn't need to worry about anything, including maintenance fees. If I received a bill I'm told to fax the bill which I have done several times but it was never paid. When I call them they told me that the bill would be paid at time of closing. Since then I have tried calling & the phone number is disconnected.

Early in 2009 I received a letter from a collection agency telling me that I had so many days to pay my maintenance fee plus late & collection fees or it would go on my credit report. Instead of paying $300 I had to pay $530. Also I just paid my 2010 maintenance fees.  I filed a complaint with the BBB case #75077464 and when the company responded they said it was still in the process so that didn't help me any. All this company does is lie to people,take their money and they do nothing. They haven't done anything with the transfer as of today 01-07-2010. I would also appreciate help in resolving this matter. Thanks
