Was contacted by these scammers to sell my timeshare back in August. Did my homework and could not find any real negatives about this company or its affiliates. Sent me a contract which I reviewed to discover that some of the information was incorrect. Fixed the info and sent them authorization to charge my credit card $492 for the listing fee in September but I did not send them the signed contract yet because I had my doubts about their sincerity. Received a call back from Denise McCrea a week later in September stating that they had accidentally charged my card twice and that they would have it reversed immediately. Two weeks go by and still no reverse charge. Looked at the statement and noted that they charged twice under two separate names? Called to find out that they had never reversed the charges. Made 6 different phone calls and finally ended up threatening to have my credit card company reverse the charge as a disputed and unauthorized charge. Finally gave me back my money. Called today to find out the status of my listing and there is no answer. Called Friendly Lenders to be told that Timeshare Savings Network is no longer in business and that they were never licensed to sell. Asked for a full refund and was told to basically pound sand. Called my credit card company and they have no problem with reversing the charge because of fraud. Beware of these scammers. All are linked together and will rip you off. I was lucky to get my money back but this is a friendly warning to all of you. Everything looks legit but if you get a call from any of thee people, run far-far-away:

Cancel Timeshare Mortgage

AUTHOR: janie78j - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Before buying a timeshare, calculate the total cost of the timeshare, including mortgage payments and expenses, like travel costs, annual maintenance fees and taxes, closing costs, broker commissions, and finance charges. Then compare these costs with the cost of renting similar accommodations with similar amenities in the same location for the same time period. And remember, a timeshare is not an investment for profit or an interest in real estate that will likely appreciate over time. And if you try to resell your timeshare, it is unlikely you will get any way near what you paid for it
