SUMMARY:

TireChoice staff is not skilled enough nor trained enough to be able to properly install my new tires resulting in me having to come back 4 times.  Fourth time TireChoice tried to return my car with a giant scratch on it.  Then led me to believe they were an upstanding company that was willing to correct their mistake only to lie.  While they admitted the damage occurred on their property they did not cause it.  They did not inspect the car before taking possession of it, nor did the review security footage.

Numerous and countless follow ups in attempt to resolve this with TireChoice management only resulted in further waste of my time.

Bottom line is these guys are poorly trained, poorly supervised, by poor managers, with similarly lacking upper management. And hence their prices are high to make up for the fact that they have to do each task more than once to get it right.  Maybe you'll get lucky and have a positive experince but each and every visit to this store I witnessed customers being upset.  The only good thing about this store is its location -- don't get trapped.  (There are ton of tire places on Dixie just around the corner)

DETAILS:

TireChoice installed a set of new tires on my silver nissan maxima ($1300).  Next morning right rear tire is flat.  Took it back and they resealed the tire.

Few weeks later front left and right rear tires are flat.  Took it back again.  TireChoice said they replaced 2 faulty valve cores (schraders).  The associate could not explain why only two were replaced since all valves were from the same batch and could be defective.

Over the weekend front left tire is going flat.  Took it back - TireChoice kept the car all day and advised there is no leak.  I insisted they keep the car and check in the morning.  Next morning TireChoice found a micro crack in the rim.  They installed a spare while I looked for a new rim.

Since spare tire is not meant to be driven on I drove the car home and parked it in my garage until new rim arrived.

Following Monday I drove straight from my home to TireChoise (5 min away) and dropped the car and the new rim off.  At the end of the day no one called but I assumed it would be ready.

Upon entering the parking lot my car was parked 30-40 feet away facing a side street with passenger side facing commercial blvd.  I immediately noticed yellow scratches on rear right passenger door, fender and bottom trim.  Upon a closer look noticed yellow paint on the tire at approximately 11 o'clock position indicating car was moving when the damage occurred.

My girlfriend and I immediately started looking for yellow painted objects on TireChoice property.  Side street parking lot entrance had a yellow pole next to an electrical box.  The pole had scratch marks and silver paint on it.  On duty manager agreed that it looked like damage was from that pole.  He said to come back the next day and talk to store manager Gabriel.

Next day very apologetic Gabriel told me he has contacted his insurance agent to get the car fixed and told me to go ahead and get a rental and TireChoice will pay for it.

Two days later Gabriel called and advised insurance adjuster completed his investigation and I could pick up my car.  I was told I'd receive a call from insurance the next day.  I was given a copy of "TireChoice incident/occurrence report" stating "spoke to customer will inspect vehicle for repair".

Requests via store manager Gabriel and company website to have someone from TireChoice management contact me were never fulfilled.

Nearly a week later and numerous follow ups with Gabriel an insurance agent Brittaney Mayo with Nation Wide contacted me with investigation.  She could not explain why I was told a week prior that the investigation was already completed.

After completing her investigation Brittaney informed me Nation Wide is denying the claim bacause TireChoice manager and technician stated they never drove the car.  Really?!?  After replacing the rim?!?

Follow up questions to Nation Wide to understand whether security camera footage was considered in her investigation were never acknowledged nor answered.

Few days later tire pressure light illuminated.  Front right tire pressure was 58psi!!!  And the tire pressure sensor stopped working, adding further insult to injury.

District manager Steve Powell made contact and promised to "get in front of these guys and get this thing figured out". Numerous follow ups later Steve asked me to get two quotes on repair.

(coincidently one of body shop said he had another customer two days prior with F150 that TireChoice scratched)

More follow ups with Steve resulted in (paraphrasing): sorry the insurance company will not pay.  TireChoice is third party to this determination?!? Really!??

Requests for a phone call and for my money back were never returned or acknowledged.
